Workshop – Acqua e gestione dei rischi a fronte del cambiamento climatico: verso l’adattamento locale

Il cambiamento climatico sta influenzando molti settori economici e gli ecosistemi naturali e, per quanto gli sforzi di mitigazione si dimostrino efficaci, questi impatti sono comunque destinati ad aumentare nei prossimi decenni a causa delle emissioni di gas serra.  Per questo motivo, solo attraverso l’adattamento si potranno affrontare gli inevitabili impatti climatici e i loro effetti economici, ambientali e sociali.

Questo workshop ha incentrato il dibattito sull’applicazione e l’attuazione dei piani di adattamento, sia a livello nazionale che regionale, con particolare attenzione alle questioni relative all’acqua e ai rischi naturali.  In particolare, è prevista una sessione dedicata alle strategie nazionali di adattamento, in cui ogni Paese alpino illustrerà lo stato dell’arte in merito alla gestione delle acque nel proprio territorio.
Inoltre, sono state organizzate due tavole rotonde: la prima sul tema del monitoraggio nei piani di adattamento per la gestione delle risorse idriche; mentre la seconda ha approfondito il tema dei piani di adattamento ai pericoli naturali.
